With the active support of Wallonia-Brussels International and the AUF (Agence universitaire de la Francophonie - Francophonie University Association), the LTT Network is launching its third call for the award of two scholarships for research (worth 1000€ each). The call is restricted to PhD students from Southern countries.
The call is intended for students enrolled in a doctoral programme in the research fields covered by the LTT network: lexicology, terminology and the science of translation.
The programme aims, very specifically, to give doctoral students the possibility to make a field work by leaving the campus of their university during a few weeks to stay in a place of investigation: it can be a particular environment (observe school activities, listen to dialogues in a health center, conduct a linguistic survey...) or a laboratory from a nearby university offering useful tools for research (phonology laboratory, linguistic engineering team, documentary fund to consult...). The grant must allow the young researcher to carry out a research to the benefit of society and must be properly attuned to the real needs.
Applications must be sent by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org, in one PDF file, before July 20, 2018.
