UNESCO, in collaboration with PhosAgro and IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry), is launching a call for applications to fund research projects in green chemistry.
Applications are expected by 31 August 2019.

PhosAgro/UNESCO/IUPAC research funding in green chemistry aims to mobilize the talents of young scientists from around the world to promote the contribution of green chemistry to the protection of the environment, human health and the identification of new technologies.

Criteria:
This call for applications aims to promote the implementation of innovative green chemistry research projects by young scientists respecting the 12 principles of green chemistry.
Promoters must meet a number of criteria, such as a doctorate (or equivalent) in chemistry or related fields, a maximum age of 39 years at the time of application or the submission of a research project that can be completed in one year.

The selected projects will be selected by an international scientific jury and will receive funding of up to USD 30,000.

Young scientists are invited to submit their applications until 31 August 2019.
