The annual conference 2021: the must-see events

Committed to support higher education institutions of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Wallonie-Bruxelles Campus takes part in numerous events abroad, including international conferences for higher education institutions.

These events bring together higher education professionals to discuss the latest trends in international higher education. The aim is therefore to achieve greater cooperation among those in charge of higher education and its internationalisation around the world. International actors active in higher education and relevant organisations come together to promote, communicate, network and exchange on good practice implemented in their own countries.

In addition to the exhibitions that enable the various organisations and institutions active in the field of higher education to meet each other, the conferences include numerous workshops, information sessions and seminars.

The Wallonia-Brussels Campus agency and representatives of higher education institutions in French-speaking Belgium will be present at the three flagship international conferences in 2021:

• APAIE 2021 (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education), a virtual event, on 23 and 24 March 2021.
• NAFSA 2021 (Association of International Educators), a virtual event, from 1 to 4 June 2021.
• EAIE 2021 (European Association of International Education), Gothenburg, Sweden, 7-10 September 2021.
