Programme description

Doctoral grants are awarded by the Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.–FNRS) for the preparation and presentation of a doctoral thesis. The scholarships are for a period of two years, renewable once. The candidate must apply no later than three years after obtaining the last master's or complementary master's degree. If the master's degree (second cycle) is not awarded by a university of the French Community of Belgium, the candidate must obtain its equivalence to a Belgian degree in order to apply. Please note: the application file must be validated by a thesis director (promoter).
